Warhammer Forge New Release - Chaos Dwarf Bull Centaurs

A good friend of Battleground Hobbies has been a Chaos Dwarf collector since he started with the original models back in the early 90's. To his disappointment, the army isn't really supported anymore but thanks to Forgeworld, they have not been forgotten.

A new release from the Warhammer Forge are twisted amalgams of ferocious bull and Chaos Dwarf, Bull Centaur Renders! These hulking and monstrous creatures rage with a great hunger for flesh.

The first of their kind were survivors of the Time of Chaos. Warped by the tides of horror that engulfed the Warhammer world.

This set of incredibly detailed full resin models comprises three Bull Centaurs armed with hand weapons and shields.

Needless to say, they are truly hulking as seen here compared to an Empire Outrider.

These guys will give Karl Franz and a unit of Demigryph knights more than they bargained for.

The Warhammer Forge models were designed by Edgar Skomorowski and are available to pre-order now with an expected ship date of  Friday 31st August.

Warhammer 40k - Titans, Tanks and Thunderbolts, Oh My!

If you fancy a bit of Warhammer 40k and are a fan of Space Marines or Imperial Guard, the one thing that comes to mind are lots of tanks. If you remember the Gamesworkshop "Spearhed" supplement, this allowed you to field a host of armor to decimate your would be opponent. The problem is always the price of tanks and more so those from Forge World. Fellow modelling enthusiast Martin Kleebank has a solution for you. Scratch built 40k armor at a three for one price ratio. That's right, you can find him selling these awesome tank creations on ebay three at a time for approximately the same cost or less as one model from Gamesworkshop or Forge World. For example, three of these Macharius Heavy Tanks sold for only $75.00 as opposed to 150.00 for the actual Forge World model.

Then there are the TITANS! These again are sweet models for a fraction of the cost! Subscribe to his Youtube channel for the latest creations and then look for them on ebay if you want to grab one of these fast moving vehicles!

The Chaos Dwarf Skullcracker released from Forge World

Forge World describes the Chaos Dwarf Skullcracker as a hissing and grinding arcane-mechanical conglomeration of iron hammers, hacking blades and brutal picks. Designed to smash down walls and tear fortifications asunder.


I imagine, even without seeing the stats on this bad boy, it would rip through a unit of infantry just as well. As always, Forge World releases a beautifully detailed resin kit, designed by Tim Adcock, and is accompanied with three chaos dwarf crew figures designed by Thais Mariblanca Lopez.

Warhammer: The Empire Handgunners

For you Warhammer enthusiasts, we bring you a great Forgeworld conversion set.

The Empire Ironsides Handgunners!

"The ‘Ironsides’ are drawn from the guards and apprentices of the renowned Imperial Gunnery School. Clad in heavy armour and armed with master-wrought firearms, the Nuln Ironsides are one of the most widely respected and well equipped Handgunner regiments in the Empire."

These resin figures sport heavy armour and will bolster your firing line! If you purchase the Empire State Hangunners/Crossbowmen kit from Gamesworkshop you'll be able to field 10 crossbowmen and 10 Ironsides!
